World's largest yard sale....if you've never been You've got to try it
The yard sales stretch as far as your eyes can see. Through four different states and hundreds of miles. The allure of the treasures waiting at the next sale keep you going even though your hot and tired.
The girls all bought new rolling pins for their hope chest. Taylor got a few bucks off hers because the woman didn't think she knew what one was....hmmmm All the girls also bought lots of clothes and shoes..
Who can pass up a lemonade stand ran by little guys..We couldn't....
Coop takes advantage of swings, slides and anything else the people might have in their yard.
Meeting the people has always been part of the fun for me. This year we got to hug on a lady who lost a baby last month and encouraged her and her husband.
We got to talk to a grand-pa who lost his grand baby 6 months ago.
He talked about how strong his daughter has been and how he can see his wife looking off and he knows that she is thinking of him. I love taking a few minutes and getting to know these people even though I will never see them again..I get a glimpse into the life of others..
You also meet some strange birds but funny none the less... They each bring alot to the yard sale table....
This man asked the boys questions about our presidents and then gave them free arrow-heads.
I love sharing my favorite past time with my family and friends and can't wait till next year....
This is our 7th year going to the world's largest and I love the memories this trip created..Thanks girls!! (and boys) Happy Birthday Jeremiah
